Trains in the South of France between Toulouse and Avignon especially in the Carcassonne area. Trains from four TER regions are seen – Languedoc-Rousillon, Midi-Pyrénées, Rhône-Alpes and Provences-Alpes-Côtes d’Azur as well as TGVs and VFE, FRET, Infra and private company locomotives. Most of the video was taken in April & May 2012 during a wine tasting holiday in the Languedoc region.
For more information about French locomotives see the incredible site railfaneurope.net including their stock lists and their photograph sections. For information on trains in the South West of France see trainsso.pageperso-orange.fr (in French but contains a lot of excellent roster information as PDF files). I used both of these sites extensively when preparing the information for the video.
