With COVID-19 vaccination rates slowly ramping up around the world (even if it’s a bit too slowly for our liking here in Canada), I wanted to start a series of videos to check-in on the resumption of travel over the course of 2021.
We’re still in the very early stages, with onerous restrictions for returning travellers here in Canada, but with vaccine timelines accelerating as we go, there’s a lot of hope that we’ll be able to take some nice trips later in 2021 once we’ve gotten vaccinated.
In our March 2021 update on “When Can We Travel Again?”, we recap Canada’s poorly-implemented hotel quarantine restrictions, take stock of our progress in rolling out vaccines, preview the upcoming “vaccine passport” that we’ll all become very familiar with, and look ahead at which destinations are most likely to open soonest once international travel is feasible.
