Round 2 of the Geography competition between US and Canadian states, provinces, and territories. This is a 64-team/place tournament set up like the NCAA basketball tournament, with a seeded bracket based on population. The places will compete in a wide variety of categories, including economic, physical, and cultural geography. The 32 winners from Round 1 compete in this video.

Please note that I have removed from consideration several categories that I had previously decided to use. After a practice run it was determined that several categories would be very difficult to use in the real competition. The categories removed are:
#19 – Percent of population in prison
#24 – Coolest thing manufactured there
#25 – Condition of interstate highways
#57 – Highway fatality rate (a downer of a category for a fun video series)
#66 – Best invention made there
#68 – Best university mascot
#69 – Best movie based there
#70 – Liquor laws
#71 – Most significant historical event
#74 – Best/funniest county name
