Every time we saw an TSUNAMI EVACUATION ROUTE sign, our kids would always freak out. Just the thought of having to use that route because a Tsunami is coming is terrifying! Jimi decided he would take the kids on a hike to see what it was like. Lombok had a tragic earthquake in 2018 that killed and injured so many. It was devastating to many locals that lost everything. As we walked around Lombok, the damage was still obvious since there is a lack of funds to rebuild many areas and homes. In our family travel vlog we like to show what places really look like and what the experience is like. Lombok is a beautiful island with so many beautiful people, it’s so unfair to see the struggle is still so real with limited water supplies and inability to fully rebuild. In our next video we head form Kuta to Sengigi so stay tuned!
