DAY 2 of our Golden Week Vacation. We visited the hiking trails around Kamikochi. You only have to wait forever for a really expensive bus ride, but it’s amazing when you get there. We ran back for our bus since we took too much time.Afterwards, we relaxed at a nearby Japanese Traditional Inn (Ryokan) that had natural white waters due to high amounts of calcium. I ate Japanese Koi for the first time and it was… unexpected. Sweet? Dry? Lots of little bones to choke on. Oh joy!
