What kind of stereotypes do you have about this country ?
Lets be honest and clear over here – you definitely have stereotypes in your head almost about every country and be sure – others have stereotypes about your nationality and country as well. TV, internet made a huge impact of how we see the world and we trust that image so much that sometimes we are even afraid to go to some destinations.
My husband (Romanian) was afraid to go to Russia because some people from his circle told him it is dangerous over there, that he can get killed , get lost , kidnapped etc and my grandma (from Russia) before she met my husband always said that Romanians are gypsies. To both of this stupid assumptions my closest people had I was like – WHAT? Are you serious?
In what kind of reality are you living?
