The City of Arts and Sciences (La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) is a work of Santiago Calatrava. If you visit Valencia, this place is a must. This ultra-modern scientific and leisure complex was built on former Turia river and includes impressive buildings such as Hemisfèric, a 3D cinema, the Science Museum, the Oceanogràfic, Europe’s biggest aquarium, Palau de les Arts, opera house and Ágora, events hosting venue.
The Turia Gardens (Jardines del Turia) is one of the biggest parks in Spain. The park built on the former riverbed of the Turia and is stretching from the Bioparc to the City of Arts and Sciences.
