The Story behind my picture “Flying over Greenland” as a start of my roadtrip through California, Nevada and Arizona.

In August 2018 I started a 21 day road trip through the western part of the United States. California, Arizona and Nevada to be more precise. My journey started in Hamburg, Germany where I boarded my flight to Oslo, Norway. From there I flew directly to LAX where I rented a car to drive down to San Diego into my family’s beach house. After spending a few days there and the occasional trip to Los Angeles I drove to Las Vegas where I spent the night at the David Copperfield show. It was amazing! From Las Vegas the journey took me to the Grand Canyon and then further on to Page, Arizona. The Horseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon were beautiful! On the way back I spent another night in Las Vegas before heading north towards Yosemite National Park. I got to spend my birthday in the park which made it probably the most amazing birthday so far. The last big stop was San Francisco where I spent 2 days and drove back down to Los Angeles on the third day. The last evening I spent on the Santa Monica Pier and witnessed the most beautiful sunset.
