Europa-Park is the largest theme park in Germany and the second most popular theme park resort in Europe, following Disneyland Paris. It is located in Rust, in south-western Germany, between Freiburg and Strasbourg, France.

Europa-Park has very high capacity rollercoasters and attractions. The park is home to eleven roller coasters, the oldest being the Alpenexpress Mine Train, where a powered coaster speeds through a diamond mine, and the newest coaster being Wodan, a wooden rollercoaster built by Great Coasters International featuring a heavily themed, detailed queueline. Other notable rollercoasters at the resort include Blue Fire – launched roller coaster with several inversions, onboard sound and unique restraint system. It includes various headchopper effects and a dark ride section with a variety of special effects. Silver Star – Hypercoaster and Europe’s second highest (239ft) and fifth fastest roller coaster (78.9 mph). EuroSat – Indoor coaster themed around space travel. Located inside a large geodesic sphere structure. Euro-Mir – A one-of-a-kind, high-speed, Mack steel track spinning roller coaster, based around Russian space missions. The ride features indoor dark ride elements, back-to-back seating, an indoor spiral lifthill, a techno soundtrack, and one of the longest ride times of any roller coaster.

The resort boasts five 4-star themed hotels, the guest house “Circus Rolando” as well as the Camp Resort with its Wild-West atmosphere along with a variety of shows in the park including “Surpr’Ice – Going on vacation” an ice skating show, “Waterloo” a musical for the whole family based on the songs of ABBA and “Miraggio” a show full of impressing acrobatics and hilarious moments just to name a few, there’s so much to see and do!
