Hoher Kasten panoramic mountain in Eastern Switzerland
The Hoher Kasten Cableway takes you comfortably from Brülisau up to 1,794 m above sea level in under 8 minutes. Various hiking trails also lead to the summit. Once at the top, enjoy the 360° panorama on the northeasterly summit of the Western Alps.
The views from the platform between Appenzell country and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley are striking, as is the ridge towards Kreuzberge. Since 1964, the cable car from Brülisau (bus from Weissbad) has run directly to the summit.
