The Epic train journey continues. Over at one time, the Worlds highest train gorge bridge, on through the scenic Montegro mountains into Serbia towards the vibrant Capitol city of Belgrade. Once the former Yugoslavia, now one of the Balkan Nations. I was very impressed by the scenic journey although I didn’t sleep well on this trip, I would do it again.
The train cost was under $30 Euro for the eleven hour journey covering two Countries, Montenegro and Serbia, one of Europes top ten must see train epics.
I was able to get the train from Bar Montenegro at 7:00 p.m, as of now only one train a day is running in the evening. The train reminded me of something one would see with graffiti on the outside in New York…The train has a bathroom and a 4 or 6 bunk size room depending on what you want to pay. There are also over 400 tunnels and 200 bridges so it was always interesting and dynamic on every leg of the way.. A really must see trip. Check it out!
