20 minutes walk from the Hoan Kiem Lake, there is a hidden place called “Train Street” which is must-see attraction in Hanoi for every tourists traveling in Hanoi. The Train Street itself is quite long. In my video, It is at 5 Tran Phu, Cua Dong, Haon Kiem, Hanoi. It is twice a day, 3PM & 7PM, that the train run across the track from Monday to Friday and multiple times on the weekend. In this videos, it was at 11:30AM, Saturday. These is all estimated time so you should be 30 minutes early if you don’t want to miss the train coming. At 11:25AM, we heard the train tooting its horn coming flying in our direction…. We literally had to jump off the track and standing pinned almost against the wall. Even the locals were making crazy hand movement and telling us move back further which was little scary. The train literally passed by just a few inches of us that you could see from the angle of the video I took.

For the safety, find a spot at the side of the track and let it passed by without putting anyone in danger. There are the legit train not to be messed with. They WILL NOT or COULD NOT stop if you overstay your time on the track. It is never worth for a photo, so please don’t be stupid!!!!
