According to the Happy Cow app there are only two places in Gokarna that provide vegan food. But according to my research veganism is very easy to practice here in Gokarna 😁🌱

Gokarna is a visitor’s destination. Many people venture here for trekking and camping activites. Therefore visitors choose to cook outdoors during their trekking and camping. Therefore a vegan masala dish ideal for a camping expidition is displayed in this vlog…. along with traditional south indian dishes that are all vegan. Those dishes are available to purchase in the local restaurants. Below are the ingredients for the pasta dish and also information about the traditional vegan dishes.

Masala Pasta Sauce Ingredients:
sunflower oil
onions
chillies
curry leaves
cumin seeds
masala powder
turmeric
salt
coriander

When the sauce is complete, stir fry the following ingredients in sunflower oil:
carrots
ladyfinger
peppers

Then add the sauce to the vegetables.
Then add the cooked pasta to the mixture.

The cost of this meal between three people is 110 rupees.
