How do I travel for just $7.10 per day?
I left America on a one-way flight in June of 2017. For the first 50 days of my travel, I spent a total of $355, equating to an average of $7.10 per day. This includes bus tickets, train rides, groceries, bar bills, dinner checks, and luxury buys.
How is it possible?
With Workaway! Workway is a program organized to connect volunteers and hosts, the former who work 25-30 hours a week for the host in exchange for FREE room and board. (Not all places offer free meals, but most I’ve seen do.)
Using this, plus credit card points (more on that in another video and below), I’ve managed to have very little expenses while still thoroughly enjoying myself.
You may have noticed that I didn’t say “Hotel Costs” in my video, and that’s because I have yet to pay for my rooms between Workaway stays. Before I left America, I signed up for a new Chase Travel Credit Card.
