CMA GCM container ships inbound for the Port of Antwerp.
The CMA CGM Scandola and CMA CGM Vasco de Gama are approaching Antwerp with their cargoes of Containers.
The CMA CGM Scandola is a LNG Powered Container Ship was delivered on 21 December 2020 and this video was taken on 28 January 2021.
It is part of the Argentina-class container ship which is a series of 22 container ships built for Eastern Pacific Shipping and operated by CMA CGM. The ships have a maximum theoretical capacity of 15,052 TEU. The ships were built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. The first five ships (1 July 2019 – 22 May 2020) are powered by conventional engines and are equipped with scrubbers. The remaining ships are powered by LNG instead.

The CMA CGM Vasco de Gama is part of the Explorer class containership. This video was taken on 11 July 2020. It is named after the Portugese explorer Vasco de Gama. It was built by the Shanghai Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry China.

Length – 399.2m (1,310 feet); Beam 544m (177 feet); Depth 29.9m (98 feet)

Capacity – 17,859 TEU
The ship was delivered in July 2015.
