Guangzhou Shamian Island, perhaps the most European style place in China, is located in the west of Guangzhou City and on the Bank of the Pearl River white goose pond. It is a famous foreign affairs tourist area and historical and cultural relics protection area in Guangzhou. Guangzhou Shamian island is a unique tourist attraction in Guangzhou, with many European style ancient buildings. At the end of 1997, the State Council listed Shamian as a national cultural relics protection area; Among them, 53 buildings are listed as national key cultural relics protection units. Among the 53 national cultural relics buildings, in addition to 37 private houses, 16 are directly managed public houses. Subsequently, the government implemented a comprehensive protection policy for more than 80 cultural relics buildings on Shamian Island, focusing on decorating and sorting out more than 10 buildings, and built Shamian island into a beautiful Grand View Garden of Western architecture. The main tourist attractions include: buildings with European customs, White Swan Hotel Shengli Hotel, “Shaji” tragedy monument, Etan yingyue, Zhenjiang ancient gun, landscaping, Shamian Park, bar, church, etc. Taking business tour as the main content, it provides passengers with business, tour, leisure, shopping and other services.
