A weekend visit to Kuala Lumpur. We headed to Kuala Lumpur hoping to have a relaxing weekend where we could enjoy a nice hotel, eat some great food and see a few famous attractions. We did this with incredible ease. A weekend was more than enough time to see everything that we wanted. We enjoyed eating inside Suria KLCC and the Hard Rock Café. We also had dinner at Jalan Alor food street which had excellent food but we were constantly pestered by people coming to our table and trying to sell us selfie sticks and other tat. For us, Kuala Lumpur was a weekend of affordable luxury and we left ready for a slightly rougher experience in the Philippines.
Itinerary: Day 1- Suria KLCC, The Petronas Towers. Day 2- Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, Batu Caves, Istana Negara/ National Palace, Merdeka Square/ Independence Square, Masjid Negara/ National Mosque. Day 3- Kuala Lumpur Bird Park.
