Last week I made a trip to Chittagong and tried to capture some great moments from the journey. It was really a memorable journey and long one. I have visited some popular places from the Chittagong division.

Day 1
It was the day I started my journey to Chittagong. I got there by train. It was TURNA EXPRESS. Depart From kamalapur railway station at 11:30PM, I arrived at the Chittagong station at 7:00 AM, Yeah It was a long Journey But never mind. AC coach Price was around 680/- per person, after reaching there I had to get auto rickshaw to reach at my hotel at AK Khan Road. There is a lot of hotel in that area but I will suggest Hotel 24 International which has good accommodation comparing to other hotels in that area.
It is really tough to get a good restaurant for meal outside the city but we got one, it was Alif restaurant at Bahaddarhat, chattagram. This is one of the best restaurant in Chittagong, And if you want to have mezban go there on any Monday or Wednesday. But unfortunately we had missed the opportunity to have mezban in Alif restaurant, But their food was awesome, Faluda is the must try dessert item.
In the noon we travelled around the city which include naval academy, and potenga sea beach. It is really fun to spend some times in the naval road in the evening. There you can have some road side sea foods too.
Day 2
In the morning it was a rainy day, and which was great to go to waterfall, so I decided to go to shitakundo. The road was wet and enjoyable rainy weather. We arrived at shohosrodhara waterfall at 10 AM. We had to buy tickets to enter there. Told that first, in rainy days waterfall becomes more gorgeous. And we had experienced exactly what we expected. That was awesome.
Day 3
We didn’t travel much in day 3, I had to do some office work. But I didn’t miss the mezban today. We went to Mezzan Haile ayun located at 95 K.B. Fazlul Kader Rd, Chittagong. And the mezban was too good specially the kala vhuna. That place was really crowded and my dream came true of eating mezban,
In the evening we traveled around the city. Traveled some great places can’t remember all of it. But the city of Chittagong has heavy traffic not less than DHAKA. Which was really a bad experience. At AK Khan Road, Kutumbari restaurant are well enough among the other restaurants. We took our dinner from there twice in this time.
Day 4
After taking our lunch we start our journey to chakaria, where we had to go for office work but whatever it is I have enjoyed the road view through the journey. Chittagong is full of hills and zizzag roads. You must have to enjoy it and long drive is a haven in those roads. So I enjoyed. Through Chakaria we arrived at cox’s bazar at 7PM and checked in to our hotel. We were really tired but sea beach can heal people I am its proof. I spent almost till 2am in the beach. And all of my stress were gone. Within this time we bought some pickles from the beach side market.
Day 5
It is 6 in the morning and haven’t took any time-lapse of the beach, really!! It can’t be happened. I just forgot my sleep, only sleeping 3 hours and got back to the beach at 6 AM. And as usual the fresh air of the beach amazed me again. This is the first time in my life I have been in the beach so early in the morning. And I am sure I will try this in future again and again.
After having breakfast from local restaurant at kolatoli road. Now it’s time for our long drive to Marin road. We didn’t go far but the road was clean and amazing. We stopped in several palaces and take photos and videos that’s good to have.
We got back to cox’s bazar for our launch after this we returned to the Chittagong city same day. We arrived at kutumbari restaurant for our last dinner in Chittagong. And surprisingly they had mezban that day. It wasn’t bad to had mezban there. They all kept the tradition of mezban of Chittagong so well.
Day 6
It’s the day of heading back to home which I always hate as a travel lover. But I was tired also. I had to get back to Dhaka by bus 9:30AM in the morning. We choose to travel with shohag Elite. I arrived at my destination at 2:30PM. Not a bad timing.
