“Just czeching out Prague”
Prague is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. And why shouldn’t it be? It’s incredibly beautiful. So beautiful in fact, that it almost doesn’t seem real.
Home to breathtaking castles and spires, Prague is like a living fairy tale. It’s by far the prettiest city I have ever visited in my life.
Things Not to Miss in Prague
• Malá Strana, the German district of Prague
• The Dancing House, an architectural wonder designed by Frank Gehry in 1996
• The Astronomical Clock, a medieval, working clock located in the Old Town Square
▪ Sedlec Ossuary, a Roman Catholic chapel decorated with human bones
• The Petrin Watchtower, also known as Prague’s “little Eiffel Tower.”
And more
Despite Prague’s high-culture reputation, it is a modern city with a friendly populace and surprisingly affordable prices compared to other major European destinations. You’ll find cheap hotels, great prices on antiques and collectibles, and local restaurants that serve traditional rib-sticking Czech cuisine.
Finishing with an experience:
‘As I sit here on a windy morning watching the flakes gently fall outside my hotel window, I look at the 300-year-old building across the street and the beautifully carved angels on its facade. There was a time people would create, just to give something beautiful to the world which we are so blessed to live in, and a time when people understood the work of all of the arts.’
