Camping Les Chambons is approximately two-thirds of the way down from Paris to Limoges in the Indre département. As such it is a good place to stop over on the way south…
The river ‘Creuse’ runs beside the campsite and there are a lot of trees surrounding the site as well as giving some shade on certain pitches. It seems to be a transit camping with good ablutions and a small café/restaurant. You just never know where you’ll end up on a road trip – some better than others…
