Bicycle Touring Europe: Cycling through Catalunya we get a glimpse of the ongoing effort for independence from Spain. We meet up with Eric’s nephew and girlfriend at their farmhouse overlooking the Costa Brava. The house is in a pretty bad shape and needs a lot of tender loving care. Frank & Elena tell us about their plans to transforming it into a retreat for people with a disability. Continuing onwards we have to cross the hectic industrial maze that grows thick around Barcelona. Rain and dangerous road conditions force us to turn back and rethink our route…
