The top five things to do in Chamonix France, is a video we are putting up for people that would love to visit the area but aren’t sure where to start. We spent an entire month living there and think that we may have some input.
#1 Hiking

When we got here, all we could think about was getting outside and that is why we highly suggest these hikes the first being the Petit Balcon.
Next is the Brevent, A little more complicated this hike has some very rewarding sights to be seen!
Lastly is Lac Blanc from Chamonix
This hike is by far the most intensive of the hikes but you will not be sorry when you see what this place has to offer.
#2 The Aiguille Du Midi, this is the highest ascending cablecar ride in the world and will leave you… well.. cold… but you’ll be looking over Chamonix and other landscapes and a sense of awe! Here is where you can find your tickets today too!
#3 Paragliding, one of the most adventurous things to do in Chamonix would have to be jumping off the edge of their mountains and gliding over the vally city below!
#4 Helicopter rides, there are a number of places to get yourself a ticket to a birds eye view of Chamonix. Here is a company to purchase your own!
#5 Head In To Town, in most of our videos we are walking through the town and are just blown away by its surrounding views. Here is a video where you can catch a little more of a glimpse into Chamonix!
These are just 5 suggestions from people spent a month living in Chamonix. We’re not experts on the area by any means but, we do know the challenges you face trying to find the right things to do when traveling.
