Srengseng City Forest aka HKS is a forest area located in Kembangan, West Jakarta. By occupying an area of 15.3 hectares and directly adjacent to the Pesanggrahan River. Before becoming an urban forest this area was a protected forest. It also functions as an important water catchment area.
Srengseng City Forest is open daily from 07:00 – 18:00. Visitors can come from the morning until the evening before sunset. The busiest times are afternoons and weekends. At that time the urban forest was often used as a place to exercise for the residents of Srengseng and its surroundings.
