Hoi!

Ever since learning about the Spanish Habsburgs (Los Austrias) through art history, I was intrigued by the city of Ghent, the birthplace of Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire and Charles I of Spain. I am also in love with the Flemish Primitives and I have dreamt of seeing the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb (Ghent Altarpiece) by the Huber and Jan van Eyck in person. Finally, in December 2021 I was able to visit Belgium and France with my family and I was thrilled as I have not travelled internationally for two years due to the inconveniences of the pandemic. Hopefully in my next trip to Belgium I can visit Antwerp, Bruges, and other cities in Wallonia! Stay tuned for my upcoming vlogs to Leuven, Brussels, and Paris!
