Great European Road Trip – Part 2: Italy, Slovenia & Croatia
A European road trip isn’t complete without visiting a few tried and true countries, like Italy, Germany and Austria, but adding in new destinations on our Great European road trip like Slovenia and Croatia was a must as well.
We’ve both dreamed of visiting Lake Bled in Slovenia for years as well as strolling the postcard streets of Split, Croatia so it was a dream for us to be able to add both of these countries to our itinerary and drive all the way from Venice, Italy to the south of Croatia.
But first, we started the second half of our Great European Road Trip by driving through the beautiful Dolomites in Italy and stopping to hike some of the incredible trails before heading off to get lost in the mazes of alleys and cafes in Venice.
