Almyrida is a coastal village 28 km eastern from Chania. It’s popular summer destination, however doesn’t belong among the busiest due to quite secluded location.
The village offers facilities such as hotels, villas, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, bakery, pharmacy, car rentals and diving center.
The coast in Almyrida consists of several organized sandy beaches with shallow waters. You can rent beach sets but also bring your own equipment and find a free space.
Small rocky peninsula is at the western edge of Almyrida coast whereas two port walls are at the eastern part. A small deserted island Karga lies 1km northwestern from Almyrida.
