We can’t help ourselves can we! Just when we really need to be moving north, we decide to detour 4 hours East, to see the city of Adana before we leave. We heard it has a vibrant food scene and a magnificent mosque unlike anything we’d seen before, so we felt like we couldn’t say no. Even it means shooting ourselves in the foot!

We’re Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project! We spent the winter re-building Sophia into a more sturdy overlanding rig, ready to take us across Africa – our next challenge. However, it’s a trip we’ve now had to postpone. But when the wind changes – adjust your sails! We’re now off on an Eastern voyage across to Greece, Turkey & beyond. I hope you enjoy this new adventure as we overland our way East.
