Koh Rong Island is in the Gulf of Thailand and it’s Cambodia’s #1 vacation destination if you are looking for incredible beaches. Turquoise waters, soft white sand, a cool breeze, and a bunch of Cambodia beer. We spent 4 days on Koh Rong. We didn’t actually do that much, but it was great. From Phnom Penh, you can be on the white sand beaches of Koh Rong in about 7 hours. It’s just an hour ferry ride from Sihanoukville.
