The Easter holidays are fast approaching, and British holidaymakers have an ever-increasing list of destinations to choose from.
A number of EU countries have dropped Covid tests for fully vaccinated holidaymakers including France, Greece and Portugal, while others such as Spain and Cyprus are relaxing some restrictions around Covid tests and vaccination requirements.

The Spanish authorities emphasised that only third-country travellers who hold a valid vaccination or recovery certificate and those who complete the Health Control Form are currently permitted entry to the country.
This means that UK travellers can not enter Spain if they hold a negative COVID-19 test result but not a vaccination or recovery certificate.

Fully vaccinated UK travellers can visit France for non-essential reasons without needing to quarantine or take a pre-travel Covid test.
A booster jab is required if you were vaccinated over 270 days ago.

Fully vaccinated UK travellers can visit Portugal without needing a Covid test.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers will need proof of either a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before travel, or an antigen test taken within 24 hours before travel.

Greece is open to UK tourists, but the rules differ depending on your vaccination status.
If you’re fully vaccinated, you can visit Greece without needing a pre-travel Covid test.
If you’re unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you will need proof of a negative Covid test result . this can be a PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival, or an antigen test within 48 hours
Proof of recovery from Covid will also be accepted.
Greece recently announced that it would be ending a need for passenger locator forms from travellers.
5:23 Cyprus
All holidaymakers heading to Cyprus will need to complete an online Flight Pass within 48 hours before travel.
There are no testing requirements for those who are fully vaccinated travellers.
