I decided to leave our campervan behind, took a risk and bought a ticket for the Bustang. My thinking was that I wasn’t confident In driving the van In case of bad roads.

an intercity bus service in Colorado. I used the Bustang schedule on the app,and found my ticket for the Bustang Denver to Breckenridge/Frisco.

I tell the story of getting stranded in 8-degree temperatures and share the pros and cons of this Bustang service. I also share about the Summit Stage free shuttle throughout Summit County; Breck, Copper, Silverthorne, Frisco. I also try snowshoeing for the first time and check out my favorite coffee place in Breck.

We are Jay and Laura Smith and after years of traveling internationally, Covid brought us a new opportunity to travel domestically in our campervan, TOASTER.

We have two grown kids, and a dog, Cota, that loves to travel with us. We will travel part time until Jay retires when we hope to take Toaster to Europe!

We lived in England in 2003/2004 for Jay’s job when the kids were 7 and 4. It was during this time that we fell in love with travel. If we weren’t taking the train to London or Edinburgh, we were driving around the country exploring.

So we are off on adventures around our own country that we wouldn’t have done if we had to fly and stay in dog friendly hotels. Toaster allows us to keep our home on wheels and gives us the freedom to roam as we please.

We hope you’ll join us and live, love, and learn. Because after all, we have one life. Live it!
