My Spain Road Trip included stops at:
1. Peniscola (coastal historic old town in eastern Spain)
2. Coves de Sant Josep (beautiful subterranean river)
3. Park Natural del Penyal d’Ifac (Calpe rock)
4. Cala del Moraig (picturesque beach with super blue water/ little stones instead of sand)
5. Panorama Moraira (panorama view)
6. Fonts de L’Algar (waterfall nature reserve with swimming holes/ but lots of tourists when the weather is good)
7. Elche (city with date palms behind Alicante)
8. Embalse del Amadorio (nice blue dam between Calpe and Alicante)
9. Montgó Massif (craggy peak wih caves and rock formations for hiking. It lies between Xàbia/Javea and Dénia for hiking). Xàbia has a beautiful beach promenade with great restaurants at the end.
10. Ghost Hotel (38.8166960, 0.1568053). It lies close to Pueblo Fantasma Denia and Carrer Siri on Google Maps.
11. Embalse de Cortes de Pallás (blue Kayak dam in the inland/Valencia)
12. Cañon del Mascarat (canyon with stunning bridges)
I also really recommend “El Castell de Guadalest” and the city of Valencia (not included in this video).
