Seville is the 4th largest city in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia with over 700.000 inhabitants. Seville is well known worldwide for its culture, monuments and artistic heritage. The city has the largest old town in Spain, the largest number of listed monuments in Europe and is known as the birthplace of Flamenco. Seville is considered the warmest city in Continental Europe. Summers in Seville are hot, temperatures can reach 50ºC. Winters are pleasant with many sunny days.
