Should you visit Bucharest?
I visited and stayed in Bucharest for 3 months and this video is my real experience of staying in this beautiful city which is very much influenced by the French culture and is also known as the Paris of the East.
I lived in the city centre area of Bucharest close to Old Town. Old Town has some of the most beautiful and oldest places to visit for any traveller coming here. These places show the deep history of this city.
I walk around Calei Victoriei which is the most famous and the oldest avenues of Bucharest. While walking here I observe buildings, shops, architecture and places which are very artistic and creative in its own way. Some of these places are National History Museum of Romania, Revolution Square, Hotel Capitol, Capsa House, National Military Circle, Odeon Theatre and many more.
Then I walk around the Old Town area and on the way I explain and discuss some important things that are essential for a traveller coming to Bucharest. These include expenses and costs of SIM cards, supermarkets, hostels & apartment while living here.
Good transportation system is extremely necessary for a traveller to visit touristic places and in this video I have discussed how convenient, easy and cheap is Bucharest Subway system for a visitor. Also I have talked about other options like taxis, buses and trams which will help travellers to plan their necessary expenses before arriving in this city.
Safety and security is one important thing which makes every traveller worry before planning a trip. Here I have explained and shown how safe is Bucharest to travel and explore for not only solo travellers, couples but also for people coming with families.
A good payment system which does not charge extra fees while withdrawing cash from ATMs/banks or through cards is something which can save lots of money while travelling and I have also discussed the best payment options for travellers coming to Bucharest.
In this video the places that I show you in Old town area are Stavropoleos Church, Muzeul Micul Paris also known as the Little Paris museum, St. Anthony Church, Bookstore Carturesti Carusel and restaurants Caru’ Cu Bere & Hanu’ Lui Manuc to enjoy and taste traditional Romanian food.
This video is all about my experiences, expenses and costs of living in Bucharest and it will serve as a guide for any traveller coming to this city.
