If you are looking for a budget friendly Disney vacation for your family, say no more! In this video, we visit Disney’s All-Star Music Resort in Orlando, Florida. Speaking of budget friendly, we were able to score this resort stay for only $110 per night! This comes in as one of the most affordable ways to stay in the Disney World Resort “bubble”. With free transportation to all the Disney theme parks and Disney Springs, all the excitement is just a quick and easy ride away!
We loved the amenities this resort had to offer. They had fantastic activities to make a resort day super fun! We enjoyed participating in free pool side games and trivia. They certainly kept our pre-k kiddo entertained between dips in the pool. For an extra charge, we were able to make Mickey Mouse tie-dye shirts. This was so much fun! While exploring the resort, we also discovered a playground – such a perfect way to help kids get their energy out. When the sun started to go down, the entertainment continued with a scavenger hunt. We explored the resort for clues to fill in a secret message! They also offer movies by the pool in the evenings. After dark, we enjoyed some delicious s’mores by a camp fire. This was such a great treat!
The resort is divided into fun music genres – when exploring the resort, you will first come to the Calypso section. The bright cheery colors will transport you to the Caribbean! You can dance around the guitar shaped pool that features statues of the Three Caballeros. The pool also has a kiddie pool that is perfect for babies and toddlers!
Next up is the Jazz portion of the resort. You will enjoy the larger than life jazzy instruments displayed all around. In the middle is a beautiful water fountain that is fantastic for a relaxing lounge spot.
Around to the right, you will be transported back in time and experience the retro Rock and Roll area. There you will notice that the grass is really more like a road that displays classic cars and a sidewalk that looks oh so similar to Abbey Road! We loved the bright, retro vibes!
On the left side of the resort, you will travel to Broadway! Walk up to the box office, find your room and let the show begin. We won’t blame you for wanting to sing and dance along the sidewalks!
And finally, at the back of the resort, is the Country Fair area. Grab your cowboy boots and fiddle to fit right in! This peaceful section may take a while to walk to, but it is quiet and quite relaxing. There is a little park area in the middle where you can enjoy lunch at a picnic table. We were able to stay in this area and would totally do it again!
If you are staying in the Rock and Roll, Broadway or Country Fair sections, you will find the Piano Pool just a few steps away! This pool is very quiet and much less busy than the Calypso pool. This makes it great for couples.
Back in the lobby, you will find a gift shop – Maestro Mickey’s with all the souvenirs and vacation essentials you could need. They also have an arcade and the Intermission Food Court. You can easily mobile order food and sit and eat or take out to the pool so you never miss a minute of sunshine. Be sure to grab adult drinks at the Singing Spirits poolside bar!
