During our trip to Penang, we stayed at Cheong Fatt Tze’s Blue Mansion located in George Town, which is hands down the coolest hotel we’ve ever seen.
Built in the 19th century by Cheong Fatt Tze, a powerful Nanyang business magnate, this building exemplifies a confluence of diverse architectural styles and cultural histories. It also won UNESCO’s Most Excellent Project in the Asia Pacific Heritage Awards!
