We rented a motorbike and escaped the madness of Denpasar, heading up the coast north of Kuta. Batu Bolong is an isolated beach with clear water and big waves, super popular with Australian surfers (and named for the adjacent temple). Tanah Lot is a temple literally IN the sea and is one of the most gorgeous examples of Balinese Hindu art and architecture. We get intimate with some of its “holy” relics and meet some Indonesian tourists along the way.

Join Sunwoo and Kevin as they take a two-month journey across much of Southeast Asia. We’ll take in the sights, meet the locals, eat all the food, and take you on a tour of all the exciting and crazy places we explore, uploading videos as quickly as we can edit them.

And if you have any suggestions for any particular spots we should hit up along the way (in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Southern Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam), let us know in the comments. See you in the next cartoon!
