This is our (HereWeGo) summer visit to Norway vlog. Here we Spend 2 full days in the beautiful & historic Hanseatic Town of Bergen on the west coast of Norway. Bergen is the second largest city in Norway and is gateway to the gorgeous western fjords of Norway, such as Sognefjord and Hardangerfjord. Apart from the fjords, Bergen itself is a gorgeous city and is surrounded in a beautiful setting of 7 mountains. Bergen is a must visit city on any trip to Norway and should not be missed.
We spent 2 full days in Bergen and still were not able to cover a lot of things that we wanted to do. So we hope to come back to Bergen in our future trips to Norway. The first day we started strolling around the city center admiring beautiful colorful architecture and streets & alleys. There is no shortage of beautiful street art at every corner to enjoy. We then took Fløibanen funicular to 320 masl to the top of Mount Fløyen. The funicular ride to the top was one of the highlights, with amazing views. Once we reached the top, gorgeous views of the city of Bergen and its harbour welcomed us. Apart from views there is also an play area for kids to enjoy. Our kids also loved petting and feeding the goats. The next day we started again by strolling around the city center enjoying the beautiful gardens blooming with roses everywhere. We then visited the street food market near Bryggen area. Bryggen is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is full of colorful houses, restaurants and cafes. We got ourselves lost in the cobbled streets of Bryggen, enjoying the history, architecture and little shops & art galleries in the area for the rest of the day.
This vlog is one of the many we will post for each day we spent in Norway, driving many scenic routes in Western Norway and visiting gorgeous glacial lakes and Fjords as well as beautiful, charming and historical cities such as Oslo & Bergen.
This video is an inspiration for you to travel to Norway, one of the most gorgeous countries in Europe with its mighty Fjords, waterfalls, lakes and mountains dotted all along the Western part of the country.
