South Africa is experiencing rainfall across a large part of South Africa in the western regions today on 4 July 2022. Snow and freezing cold temperatures across the entire country is forecasted for the next few days.

Monday: A COLD morning with FOGGY patches over the Cape Provinces as a high pressure continues to sit over western South Africa with lots of surface moisture
A mainly cool to mild and SUNNY winters afternoon across the country but cloudy along the Eastern Cape coast and adjacent interior with light rain in places
Tuesday: A surface low invades western South Africa with a trough extending over the Cape Provinces into the afternoon where a band of isolated thundershowers & showers are likely to extend from the central Karoo to the Eastern Cape.
Remaining sunny and chilly over the rest of the country this week
Wednesday: Cloudy with showers and thundershowers moving over the Western & Eastern Cape
Thursday: A hasty Cold Front reaches the Western Cape but quickly weakens and fizzles out as soon as it makes landfall (Vox Weather).
