England to Macedonia by road / across 15 European countries
England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ to Macedonia ๐ฒ๐ฐ on wheels!
On a bright sunny day of June 2022, three crazy travellers hit the road for an incredible trip towards South Eastern Europe. Setting off from Birmingham towards Dover, the White-Cliff County, where we boarded Car Ferry across the England Channel to France ๐ซ๐ท. Once landed there, Brussels was next on the card. From Belgium ๐ง๐ช we moved to Munich in Germany ๐ฉ๐ช and then to Innsbruck in Austria ๐ฆ๐น. The iconic Venice in Northern Italy ๐ฎ๐น was fully scaled by foot and boat. Cutting across Slovenia ๐ธ๐ฎ, we reached the fantastic Croatia ๐ญ๐ท, where we alone explored 3 cities including Split and Dubrovnik. Fully enjoying the historic Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina ๐ง๐ฆ, we carried through Podgorica in Montenegro ๐ฒ๐ช and Shkoder in Albania ๐ฆ๐ฑ and reached Pristina, the capital of Kosovo ๐ฝ๐ฐ. From beautiful and shopping friendly Pristina we jumped into Skopje, Macedonia ๐ฒ๐ฐ for some history and delicious food and enjoyed it to its full. Couple of days in each city, Belgrade in Serbia ๐ท๐ธ was next. We had a nice time there and went to the well lighten Budapest in Hungary ๐ญ๐บ. Budapest to relatively quite Bratislava, Slovakia ๐ธ๐ฐ and that was when the return journey started. Via Nuremberg, Cologne, Brugge and Ostend we reached back to Dover and eventually Birmingham.
