Today we jumped in a Grab ride to Sunworld at Bà Nà Hills.
Sunworld is a theme park located in the Trường Sơn Mountains roughly 20 km west of the city of Da Nang, in central Vietnam. The Bà Nà Hills station was founded in 1919 by French colonists. The colonists had built a resort to be used as a leisure destination for French tourists. Being located around 1500 metres above sea level, it has a view of the East Sea and the surrounding mountains.
Due to the elevation of the resort, the temperature is significantly cooler (10–15 degrees) than the environment near the coast. Cable cars carry tourists to and from the resort.
A few highlights at Ba Na Hills are the Golden Bridge, the French village, Amusement rides and a gigantic castle still under construction. We will be keen to go back again next time to see this when it is finished.
Thank you for watching.
