10 Japan.
Here’s one you probably didn’t expect, Japan is at the forefront of technology, they are also known for being highly efficient and highly respectful, so why are they on this list? well due to historical disputes and possibly a little bit of envy too, the Chinese population in general, dislikes the Japanese, and with a population of around 1.4 billion, that’s a lot of dislikes.
9 North Korea.
Oddly enough, not many people like the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un, his threats to bomb this country or that country, his constant flexing of military muscle and his attempts to force South Korea to rejoin the North mean that many just see him as a bully, and who likes a bully?
8 Russia.
Yeah, you probably guessed Russia would be on this list. Since the Cold War Russia has had rather a bad reputation and overstepping the country’s boundaries, animosity with Ukraine, and rumors of hacking and US election manipulation haven’t really helped to better its reputation.
7 India.
Another country you probably didn’t expect to see on this list, but then you probably didn’t know it has the same population as China either, 1.4 billion, in a country about a third of the size! this overpopulation has led to pollution, corruption, and a situation where the gap between the rich and the poor has become too big to be sustainable. This is also the general opinion of India’s surrounding neighbors who feel it has gotten too big for its own boots and has begun to overstep its boundaries.
6 China.
Just a China dislikes Japan, Japan also dislikes China, but that’s not the only reason China is on the list. Its Communist government, its rapid growth to become a superpower, and the fact that almost everything you buy nowadays is “Made in China” has caused a lot of Americans to feel threatened by the Chinese and therefore they dislike the country.
5 The United States of America.
Yes, it seems that although a lot of Americans think that the United States is the best country in the world. This isn’t the view of many other countries around the world. In general, people view America as a bit of a bully, always portraying itself as the hero, and quick to see the faults of others whilst remaining blatantly ignorant of its own.
4 Germany.
We all know why Germany is on this list but Hitler isn’t the only reason. Oddly enough Germany’s post-war prosperity is a big reason why it is disliked by many. The fact that Germany has become so powerful even though they lost the war, whilst many countries, including the U.K, are still paying war debts even though they won, is like throwing salt in their wounds, and Germany is resented for that.
3 Belgium.
Belgium is boring… and that’s about it! It has never done anything truly great or anything truly bad, the cuisine, culture, and the country itself are just all rather bland! Basically, Belgium is to countries what Beige is to colors… and a lot of people hate beige!
2 Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is disliked by many countries mainly because of its laws and how it enforces them. Women’s rights as they are known in the western world are completely non-existent. Blasphemy, treason, homosexual acts, and murder are all punished by death, and adultery is punished by lashes or death by stoning. Many countries view these practices as barbaric and inhumane causing them to hate Saudi Arabia.
1 Mexico.
Everybody loves a taco but it seems that not everyone loves Mexico. Illegal immigration, drug cartels, and an inability to maintain and enforce laws have made many Americans take a dislike to Mexico, especially those who live in bordering states where cheaper labor from “Over the border” has led many to think that Mexicans are stealing American jobs. Add all this together and you get the picture that many Americans see Mexico as an undesirable neighbor, the kind that leaves the trash cans out, parks in your driveway, and never mows the lawn.
