TSKALTUBO Abandoned Soviet Secret Spa in Georgia
Coming from South Africa and never learning much about the Soviet Union we’ve been fascinated with the history of Eastern Europe ever since visiting Ukraine. Abandoned places… well that’s always been a fave.
Tskaltubo is like Chernobyl… without the radiation, you can play around everywhere without risking your life.
It is beautiful and unimaginable that these grand buildings are abandoned
A lot of them are currently used by IDP’s (Internally Displaced People) of Georgia. It is ironic how these buildings were build and used by Russia and now they are used by locals… because Russia forced them out of their own homes.
