We went to the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Moonlight Magic Event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last night (July 26, 2022)! This was the first of three events at Animal Kingdom this summer and the first time there has been a Moonlight Magic event at Animal Kingdom since early 2020!
We had meet and greets with Ludwig von Drake, Clarice (from Rescue Rangers), Mickey and Minnie (in Africa) and Mira, Royal Detective! We also saw Chip and Dale (in their dinosaur costumes) and Daisy at the DJ dance party! And we saw Russell and the Three Caballeros, but didn’t have time to do meet and greets with them!
We did a couple of rides, got some free Mickey bars and strawberry bars, snacks and had a great time! We gave two of our tickets to our friend, Michael and his mom. Michael is @ThePresidentialTourist on YouTube!
The carnival games, for the second time in a row, turned out to not be worth it for us. Only three of the games were open and they all had super long lines. Overall it seems like Animal Kingdom Moonlight Magics have longer lines for food and characters. But I think that’s because they only have a few rides at Animal Kingdom and they don’t run Kali River Rapids or the Kilimanjaro Safaris during the event.
We love our DVC and we love Moonlight Magics!
