Today we are walking in Central London, in fact we walk across London from South to North! We start by the cultural hub that is the South Bank next to the Royal Festival Hall before moving onto the Golden Jubilee Bridge where we cross the Thames River – the heart of London.
On the North side we stroll along the Victoria Embankment, via the lovely Whitehall Garden. This garden smelt of fresh spring flowers and the glorious buildings you see backing onto the park are actually old world private members clubs.
Finally we head back to walk along the River Thames, passing by Westminster Pier where tourists can get boat rides. We finish on Westminster Bridge with nice views of London from the bridge and of the newly renovated Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower).
