Road Trip Broome to Dampier Peninsula, taking a trip along the road less travelled. What a great surprise to have taken this adventure. Visiting Pender Bay, Middle Lagoon and Gambunun was unexpected and mostly chosen due to having to wait for deliveries to arrive in Broome.
The road up towards Cape Levique is all tar and currently being improved to an even higher standard. Each of the trips to these three locations are off the main road and realistically require a 4WD. Tyre pressure is paramount and because the road is so narrow means a steady slower speed than normal.
It would be unfair to guage any of the camp sites better than each other, since they were all so very different to each other.
