Quick recap — we’re on our first cruise, departing with Princess Cruises on Sapphire Princess from Southampton UK. Today we arrived in France and got to spend some time in an incredible region, Bordeaux. This is wine tasting country for sure, Bordeaux has an incredible reputation for some of the best tasting French red wine, the most amazing chateaus and a particularly classy scene.
As far as wine tours in Bordeaux go, this was more of a wine tasting and vineyard tour with included history and lunch. It’s a classy scene in Bordeaux, so it’s not just about drinking and forgetting, there’s an elegance here that we tried to capture the essence of in the vlog.
Bordeaux has always been one of those places we never really imagined we would visit, so when we found out our Princess Cruise was going there it was simple, a shore excursion and wine tour were a must! If you get the chance to visit France and Bordeaux be sure to scope out as many vineyards and chateaus as you possibly can!
