Come along with these Americans in Paris on our first time in Paris! We soak in the beautiful sights of the city and hit many Paris must dos and best things to do in Paris! Please accept our apologies for our poor pronunciations. 🙂
Our day starts by admiring he gorgeous courtyard of our Airbnb and the stunning neighborhood around it. We visit Sainte-Chapelle in the morning, which is so beautiful and a Paris must see.
Next, we stop by Notre Dame, but are not able to enter yet, due to the fire. We take in the visual and auditory art at Atelier des Lumières next. This is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy in the middle of a busy day.
The next part of our day is spent grabbing a quick lunch and then walking around Père Lachaise Cemetery, where we see the graves of Jim Morrison, Chopin, and Bellini, and Place des Vosges, which is a gorgeous town square.
At our next stop, Sacré-Cœur, we walk up hundreds of steps to the top to take in the amazing views of the city of Paris. We make a very quick stop at Moulin Rouge to grab a couple of pictures, of course!
At the Catacombs, we climb down into the underground of the city to learn the history of the city and catacombs. It can be a little spooky down there, but it is worth it to experience the historic site first hand.
After the catacombs, we quickly visit the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. At the Arc de Triomphe, we see and learn about the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Our last stop of the day is our favorite, Eiffel Tower. It is so amazing to see in person after seeing so many replicas of it in our travels. It is so much better in person than we expected! It is an absolute must to see the Eiffel Tower at night with the sparkling lights. What a way to end our busy, fun day!
