Japanese have announced plans to reopen to foreign tourists in October 2022 with visa free travel, no daily tourist caps, and no tours or travel agencies required. While nothing is set in stone yet, the weak yen and business pressures are likely causing ripples. We will keep an eye out and hopefully see a return to visa free travel next month in Japan!
