The weather forecast for today is disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of susceptible settlements, roads, low-lying areas and bridges is expected along the coast and adjacent interior of the Eastern Cape, spreading to the southern and central parts of KwaZulu-Natal in the afternoon. Snow resulting in icy roads and isolated loss of vulnerable livestock is expected over the north-eastern mountains of the Eastern Cape from the afternoon.
