Vietnam has been at the top of our list of countries to visit for as long as we can remember on this backpacking journey! We flew into Hanoi fully expecting to be blown away by the hustle and bustle of the city – little did we know it would be the most significant culture shock of our travels so far!
We had a week to explore everything (including a Halong Bay Tour), so we tried to soak up and see as much as possible whilst trying not to be overwhelmed by this amazing city. We’ve tried to provide some tips we wished we had known prior to visiting Hanoi, as well as giving an insight into the best things to do and eat while in Hanoi!
